Income Guidelines for CHIP/MEDICAID

Your income is money you get paid before taxes are taken out. Children of families that earn higher incomes may also qualify in some cases.

A family of one

  • If the monthly income is $1,322 or less, or the yearly income is $15,857 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $1,973 or less, or the yearly income is $23,670 or less, you may qualify for CHIP.

A family of two

  • If the monthly income is $1,784 or less, or the yearly income is $21,404 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $2,663 or less, or the yearly income is $31,951 or less, you may qualify for CHIP.

A family of three

  • If the monthly income is $2,246 or less, or the yearly income is $26,952 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $3,353 or less, or the yearly income is $40,232 or less, you may qualify for CHIP.

A family of four

  • If the monthly income is $2,709 or less, or the yearly income is $32,499 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $4,043 or less, or the yearly income is $48,513 or less, you may qualify for CHIP.

A family of five

  • If the monthly income is $3,171 or less, or the yearly income of $38,047 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $4,733 or less, or the yearly income is $56,795 or less, you may qualify for CHIP

A family of six

  • If the monthly income is $3,633 or less, or the yearly income is $43,595 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $5,423 or less, or the yearly income is $65,076 or less, you may qualify for CHIP.

A family of seven

  • If the monthly income is $4,096 or less, or the yearly income is $49,142 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $6,114 or less, or the yearly income is $73,357 or less, you may qualify for CHIP.

A family of eight

  • If the monthly income is $4,558, or less, or the yearly income is $54,690 or less, you may qualify for Children’s Medicaid.
  • If the monthly income is $6,804 or less, or the yearly income of $81,638 or less, you may qualify for CHIP.
